Installation Instructions

Download one (only one schedule can be installed at a time) of the Bible reading plans from the table above.
The first five were prepared by Back to the Bible. (5k)

Download a Bible version of your choice. (If you already have a version of the Bible from
Olive Tree, you do not need to get another.) There are free versions of the Bible as well as
versions for purchase available in our online store.

If you installed the BibleReader included with the Bible version that you installed, or if you already have the
BibleReader installed on your device, you can skip this step. Otherwise, install our BibleReader software for your
Palm or Pocket PC device.

Rename the Bible reading plan file to "DailyBible.pdb" and perform a normal HotSync using the Palm Quick-Install tool
to install it to your Palm device. See below for Pocket PC instructions.

NOTE FOR POCKET PC USERS: With our latest BibleReaders for Pocket PC/WinCE,
we offer the capability for a Daily Reading schedule under the View menu. Just download one of the schedules from
the table above and rename the file to "DailyBible.pdb". Place it and at least one version of the Bible
into the My Documents/Bible folder on the handheld.
Using BibleReadMe
This is how the text screen will appear in BibleReader for Palm OS. Tapping on the
small sun and book icon in the toolbar will toggle to the BibleReadMe program.
This is how the BibleReadMe will appear for Palm OS. According to the reading plan that is
installed, the text list will be broken out in segments for daily reading. Tapping on the
segment you wish to read will take you to the actual text in BibleReader. The user can use
the checkboxes to keep track of those portions already read.
Tapping on the "day/date" area of the screen above will bring up this calendar
and the user can tap on a date to go read the portion for that day. Using the arrow keys
in the upper right corner allows you to cycle through the calendar by months.
