Installation Instructions for Popularly Supported Platforms

BibleReader downloads for Mac, PC, iPhone, iPad, and Android.

iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad Installation Instructions for BibleReader

BibleReader 5 has been approved and released on the iTunes App Store. Not all BibleReader apps will be updated at the same time.

We hope to be submitting updates for other BibleReader applications soon. You will be notified via the iTunes App Store when an upgrade to that reader is available for free to download.

If you haven't installed the iPad, iPhone BibleReader program already, you can install the free program via iTunes: Free BibleReader (Bible+)

Once the program is on your device, please reboot it, then open the BibleReader program
Select the Library Button
Select the Store button to the right of the library popup.
Select the "Purchased" tab from the bottom of the Store screen.
Scroll to the bottom of the product list and hit "Synchronize books with your Olive Tree account" to enter your username and password.
You should now see a list of your Olive Tree products that are compatible with your device, please select one to download it into your reader.

To browse free items, please select "Store" from the bottom tabs of the library screen on the iPhone/iPod Touch; on the iPad, touch the "Store" button on the top bar in the library screen, then scroll down to Free Books.

Android Over-The-Air Installations Instructions

If you haven’t already installed the BibleReader program on your phone, please point your device’s browser to www.olivetree.com/m making sure that you have your device set to allow installation from an unknown resource.

Download the current reader for your platform. The website should automatically determine your device, but if not choose the appropriate platform from the list.

Once the download is complete, tap on the most recent APK file to complete the install. Then please reboot your device.

Once your BibleReader program is installed please select the icon to open it.

Touch the menu button and select Library from the menu.
Select My Online Bookshelf from the resulting menu.
Select Olive Tree Account.
Enter your username and password as prompted.
You should now see a list of your purchased Olive Tree products that are compatible with your platform. Please select one to download it into your reader.

To install free items, please select Browse Online Bookstore from the Library menu.

BlackBerry Over-The-Air Installation Instructions

If you haven’t already installed the BibleReader program on your phone, please point your device’s browser to www.olivetree.com/m.

Download the current reader for your platform. The website should automatically determine your device, but if not choose the appropriate platform from the list (e.g. Blackberry, Blackberry Storm).

Once installed, then please reboot your device.

Once your BibleReader program is installed please select the icon to open it.

Touch the menu button and select Library from the menu.
Select My Online Bookshelf from the resulting menu.
Select Olive Tree Account.
Enter your username and password as prompted.
You should now see a list of your purchased Olive Tree products that are compatible with your platform. Please select one to download it into your reader.

To install free items, please select Browse Online Bookstore from the Library menu.

Symbian 60-5 Over-The-Air Installation Instructions

If you haven’t already installed the BibleReader program on your phone, please point your device’s browser to www.olivetree.com/m.

Download the current reader for your platform. The website should automatically determine your device, but if not choose the appropriate platform from the list. Please specify "e:\mass memory" or "Memory card" as the location to install the reader when prompted. However, you will need to install the bible files to the same location, so most prefer e:\mass memory.

Then please reboot your device.

Once your BibleReader program is installed please select the icon to open it.

Touch the lower left icon on your BibleReader screen and select Library from the menu.
Select My Online Bookshelf from the resulting menu.
Select Olive Tree Account.
Enter your username and password as prompted.
You should now see a list of your purchased Olive Tree products that are compatible with your platform. Please select one to download it into your reader.
When prompted, specify "e:\mass memory" or "Memory card" for where to install this product, but be sure to choose the same location as what you chose for the reader.

To install free items, please select "Browse Online Bookstore" from the Library menu. Once you select an item and download it, select Options and go to File Manager, then select Options>Organize>Move to folder and move it to E:Mass memory/data or Memory Card/data, depending on where your application is installed.
