To access the BibleReader Preferences, go to Tree > Options > Preferences. There is a drop down list in the upper right corner that lets you select which preferences you would like to customize.
Default Files - Only if iLumina MOBILE is installed. Specify which file you want to open in the tabs. If you want the application to always open the file you loaded last, then select "Use Last Opened" -- this is the default.
Desktop - Select which desktop setup you would like to use. Choose from 6 different options, with top or bottom toolbars, different functions on the toolbar, full screen of text, etc.
Display - Set the color screen display options, also move the index in the Library to the top/bottom of the list.
Extended Memory - Specify the path to files saved on a memory card. If you have installed files to memory card and they are not showing up under Tree > Tools > Library, try specifying a path to the extended memory here. The default path for most newer Palm devices is /Palm/Launcher.
Fonts & Colors - Specify the background and text colors for the three windows you can open in BibleReader. You can also select the font size and type, and specify a few options for the Toolbar.
Greek & Hebrew - Specify what size you would like the Greek, Hebrew, and Transliteration fonts to be. You can also set extra spacing between the words, and turn syntax coloring on/off. If your dictionary links are not working, also check to be sure that "UBS Dictionary" is selected.
Highlighting - Lets you select your highlighting color or feature, and turn the highlighting display on/off.
iLumina - Only if iLumina MOBILE is installed. Turn tabs and tap and hold on/off. Also set the Home screen to always come up on startup, and the dictionary to use a second reference window.
Map Atlas - Specify options for the maps.
Secondary Toolbar - Set the icons you want to display on the second toolbar, arrange the order of the icons, and select the location for the second toolbar.
Scrolling - Customize your scrolling methods. Select which scrolling method you want to use, and set it to scroll by Line, Verse, Screen, History, Chapter, or Book. You can also customize the scroll bar position and size, and turn Tapping on, to scroll up/down by tapping on the top/bottom of the screen.
Shortcuts - Select from a number of shortcuts to assign them to the main hardware buttons on the device. Also enable "Numbers Navigate Verses" to navigate the text using the graffiti number area.
Shortcuts - Alpha - Assign shortcuts to letters that you enter into the graffiti area or type on the keyboard.
Split Screen - Select how many windows you want to open, and specify a few related options.
Split Screen Advanced - Set the target window for hyperlinks. For example, setting Window 3 for Window 1 means that when you tap on a hyperlink in Window 1, the related link will open in Window 3.
Verse Chooser - Select the type of verse chooser and the book color scheme.
Verse Chooser Advanced - Customize specific features of the verse chooser including number of columns, borders, coloring.
Verse Format - Set how you would like verses to display - each verse on a new line (Verse), or verses just flowing along (Paragraph). Also, select the color for the words of Jesus (only in specific supported databases), and turn the publisher and personal notes icons on/off.
Verse Sync - Specify which windows you want to scroll together. |
