Shortcuts

The BibleReader has both alpha shortcuts and hardware shortcuts that can be customized to the buttons or letters you would like to use.

Alpha Shortcuts - Silk Screen or Keyboard

The alpha shortcuts are shown next to the menu items that they relate to. To use them, just write the "/" character in the "ABC" section of the silk screen, then write the letter for the shortcut. If your device has a keyboard, you can just press the corresponding letter on the keyboard. These alpha shortcuts can be configured under Tree > Options > Preferences > Alpha Shortcuts. Here you can add more letters that will shortcut to different features of the BibleReader and modify existing shortcuts.

Hardware Shortcuts

There are a number of shortcuts that can be assigned to the four hardware buttons on a Palm. To view the full list, and assign a particular shortcut to a hardware button, go to Tree > Options > Preferences > Shortcuts.

There are also a number of shortcuts that can be assigned to the "Select" and "Record" buttons on some Palm devices. These buttons can be assigned under Tree > Options > Preferences > More Shortcuts.
