The Document Chooser is the primary method for navigating through non-versified material in the BibleReader. It uses a Table of Contents that lets you easily jump to a specific chapter or location in the text. When the document is versified, the Document Chooser is replaced with the Verse Chooser, which behaves a little differently. Details for the Verse Chooser are included in the previous section.
Certain resources use both the verse chooser and the document chooser - it is up to the user which navigation method they would like to use. For documents that support both navigation options, you can switch between the two by opening the Verse or Document Chooser and going to the Menu. Select TOC Mode or Verse Only to change the navigation method.
Accessing the Document Chooser
You can access the Verse Chooser/Document Chooser in two main ways:
Using the Document Chooser
The Document Chooser displays the contents of the text in a Table of Contents format, similar to the picture below. Once in the Table of Contents, select titles with the [+] marks to drill down through the material and locate the specific section you are looking for. If a list item does not have a [+] by it, selecting it will open that topic in the main BibleReader screen.
To jump in the Table of Contents to your current location in the book, open the Document Chooser and go to Menu > Expand to Current Location.
