Hyperlinks (underlined text) allow you to jump from the text you are in to a location in a different database or to a new location in the current database. Selecting a hyperlink in a window will open another window with the text you linked to. To customize the way you navigate hyperlinks in the text, go to Menu > Options > Scrolling Preferences:
Here you can select if you want the up/down or left/right arrows to select the next hyperlink, by checking the appropriate box. You can also specify the target window for hyperlinks under Menu > Options > Split Window Preferences.
