Verse Chooser

Top  Previous  Next

The Verse Chooser is the primary method for navigating through versified material in the BibleReader. When the document is not versified, but contains a Table of Contents, the Verse Chooser is called the Document Chooser and behaves a little differently. Details for the Document Chooser are included in the following section.

Certain resources use both the verse chooser and the document chooser - it is up to the user which navigation method they would like to use. For documents that support both navigation options, you can switch between the two by opening the Verse or Document Chooser and going to the Menu. Select TOC Mode or Verse Only to change the navigation method.

Using the Verse Chooser

The Verse Chooser uses three screens to help you navigate to a specific Book/Chapter/Verse. After selecting a Book on the first screen, the second screen will automatically come up, where you select the chapter number, after which the final screen automatically comes up where you select the verse number of the previously specified Book/Chapter.
