Hoffnung Für Alle

The Hoffnung Fur Alle is a German translation that was begun in the 1970’s. It endeavors to bring the Word of God into the language of our time, making it easy to understand, while holding to the meaning of the context in the original text.

"Hoffnung für alle" als eine kommunikative Übersetzung bemüht sich um eine optimale Verständlichkeit bei gleichzeitiger Treue gegenüber dem Inhalt des Originals. Sie will den Inhalt des Textes so gut verständlich machen, wie es dieser für den damaligen, hebräisch-, aramäisch oder griechischsprachigen Leser oder Hörer war.

User Tip:

Create your own Parallel Bible! Did you know that you can read multiple Bible translations at once in the BibleReader? On a Palm you can have up to three windows, each with a different translation, and on a Pocket PC you can have up to six windows. Here’s how:

Palm: Go to Tree > Options > Preferences > Split Screen. Select the max number of windows you want, and tap OK. Then go to Tree > Options > Split Screen. Every time you do this, the number of windows will rotate from 1 – 2 – 3 (or whatever the max is set to), then back to 1. To load a Bible into each window, tap that window to make it active, then go to Tree > Tools > List of Bibles and select the Bible you want in that window.

To get all windows to scroll together on verse-specific scrolling actions, go to Tree > Tools > Verse Chooser Options > VerseLocks. The windows you want to scroll together, set to Lead and Follow.

Pocket PC: Go to Tools > Split Window Cfg. Select the max number of windows, and tap OK. Then go to View > Toggle Windows.
