  • TWOT, Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament, by Gleason L. Archer and R. Laird Harris, is an extensive, scholarly discussion of every Hebrew word of theological significance in the Old Testament and is keyed to Strong's Concordance. TWOT includes the following features: more than 1,400 articles written by 43 Old Testament scholars, 400 sub-entries giving definitions only, virtually exhaustive bibliographies of published material, and a special section of Aramaic words used in the Old Testament.
  • EDNT, Eerdmans Exegetical Dictionary of the New Testament, is the English translation of the three-volume Exegetisches Wörterbuch zum Neuen Testament, and is a complete English dictionary of New Testament Greek. It serves as a guide to the usage of every New Testament word in its various contexts, has thorough, lengthy discussions of more significant words, and groups words related by root and meaning (with alphabetical cross-references), distinguish it from simpler Greek-English lexicons. Basic Bible Study Tools

Looking for a basic Bible study tool that will help you dig a little further into the Bible? Need some tools that will assist you in understanding the meaning behind the Greek and Hebrew of the Bible? Olive Tree Bible Software has a the following suggestions for you:
  • The Complete Word Study Bible, based on the work of Dr. Spiros Zodhiates from AMG Publishing features the following: book introductions, footnotes on key passages, extensive cross-referencing numbering system, AMG Greek concordance, Hebrew and Greek word studies section, Strong's dictionaries, and translational reference indexes. An excellent resource tool to explore the word of God.
  • The New American Standard Bible with Strong's Numbers consists of the 1995 NASB embedded with dictionary reference numbers based on Strong's system. Strong's Exhaustive Concordance lists all the significant words in the Bible and references each word to the original Hebrew and Greek languages used by the writers.
In both of the above translations, tapping on a word or Strong's number in the text will split the screen top and bottom and display the appropriate dictionary information in the lower window, with the Hebrew or Greek word displayed as well. Fonts are supplied in the download.

Dutch NBV

The Dutch NBV translation is now available from our online store. The new translation, De Nieuwe Bijbelvertaling (NBV), is in fact the first official Dutch translation to be published since 1951. The Netherlands Bible Society and the Flanders Bible Society hope that it will become the standard version for the entire Dutch-speaking region in Europe.
