New American Bible (NAB) with complete publisher notes
The New American Bible works well together with the Mobile Notes from The Catholic Youth Bible®. As you read through Bible passages, you have easy access to the mobile notes - open both in parallel or easily switch between the two - together these tools will help you to gain a deeper understanding of the passage being read.
The New American Bible is a completely new translation of the Bible. Based on the original texts of the sacred books, it aims to convey the thought and individual style of the inspired writers as directly as possible. The Bible download also includes the complete publisher notes that expand on translation context and meaning.

User Tip - How to access publisher notes
On Palm OS, Pocket PC, and Symbian UIQ devices, there are little black triangles scattered throughout many of our Bible texts that indicate a publisher note. To view that note, just tap on the triangle icon and the note will open in a second reference window.
