BibleReader for Pocket PC - Installation

Use the instructions below to help you install the BibleReader application to your handheld device. Please make sure you meet the system requirements before installing. If you have problems, you can find help in our support section.

Installing from the .exe File (Auto Install from PC)

1. Choose the BibleReader version that you would like and download the .exe file from the download page to your desktop computer.
2. When prompted, select one of the following:
   1. Open or Run, which will install the necessary files directly from the Internet to your device.
   2. Save to Disk and save the file to the Desktop of your desktop computer. Once the .exe file is downloaded to your Desktop, double-click on the .exe file to begin the installation to your handheld device.

Note: The .exe file must be downloaded/run from your desktop computer. Installing it directly to the handheld device will not allow the installation to happen.

Installing from the .zip File (Manual Install from PC)

1. Download the .zip file for the version you want to install from the download page and Save it to the Desktop of your desktop computer.
2. Create a new folder on the Desktop of your computer and name it Olive Tree.
3. Extract the CAB file (most devices will use the _ARM.CAB file, but if your device has a different processor, extract the corresponding .CAB file) and save it to the Olive Tree folder you created.
4. Open Microsoft ActiveSync on your desktop computer and Explore to the My Documents folder. Copy/Paste the .CAB file from the Olive Tree folder on your desktop computer to the My Documents folder in ActiveSync.
5. On the device, Explore to the My Documents folder. Tap on the .CAB file to install the BibleReader to your device.
6. Open the BibleReader from Start > Programs on your device.

Installing from the .zip File (Manual Install from Macintosh)

1. Download the .zip file from the download page to the Desktop of the Mac.
2. Use Stuffit to open the .zip file. Extract the CAB file (most devices will use the _ARM.CAB file, but if your device has a different processor, extract the corresponding .CAB file) and save it to the Desktop of the Mac.
3. Open PocketMac and Explore to the My Documents folder on your device. Copy/Paste the .CAB file from the Desktop of the Mac to the My Documents folder on your device.
4. On the device, Explore to the My Documents folder. Tap on the .CAB file to install the BibleReader to your device.
5. Open the BibleReader from Start > Programs on your device.
