BibleReader for Pocket PC - Requirements


System Requirements

The current version of BibleReader supports Pocket PC devices such as Ipaq, Axim, Toshiba, Jornada and the Treo 700w:

  • Windows CE 3.0 and 4.2
  • Windows Mobile 2000, 2002, 2003 and 5.0

The current version does not* support:

  • WinCE 2.11
  • WinCE 2.0

* If you have a device using these older operating systems, we do provide an older version of the BibleReader that should work. Please note that we are not actively developing this older version, and it is does not contain our newer improvements and features nor will it recognize Bible databases that have been released from Olive Tree in the last two years.


Memory Requirements

The BibleReader requires at least 2 MB of available RAM to install and function correctly. This is in addition to the RAM required for database files. An average Bible without extensive notes takes about 1.5 MB of space in addition to the BibleReader application. We make a variety of material available ranging from 10 KB to 100 MB.
