Major Makeover Implemented for Olive Tree Bible Software Website

SPOKANE, WA – (September 26, 2005) – Olive Tree Bible Software began retiring its old logo this past month by replacing it with an updated look and feel, which will ultimately populate its website, software applications and print collateral. In addition, it has adopted a byline, “the Truth is in your hands,” which gives food for thought by supporting the company’s core mission: to supply Bible software. Other items of interest include a brand new “Press Room” section that features all of the latest media material such as press releases, articles and reviews, information about Olive Tree, the company history, an image library and more.

“We have had the same logo for 9 years, and it has served us well,” says Drew Haninger, President of Olive Tree, “but it was time for a change. We are a completely different company now than we were back then. Our new logo reflects the dynamics of those changes.”

Olive Tree began as a student project back in 1984, which consisted of a searchable Greek New Testament on a monochrome PC. In 1996, a website was built (with the original logo) that supported a searchable Bible. The company assumed the name, “Olive Tree Bible Software” in 2000the name is taken from Romans 11:17. Today, over 10,000 free KJV Bibles are downloaded from their website every month.
