Dr. John Phillips began his ministry as the founder and pastor of a small Canadian church, then served on the staff of Moody Bible Institute for twenty-five years, teaching in the Moody Evening Extension School, appearing regularly on the Moody Broadcasting radio network, and eventually acting as the assistant director of the Moody Correspondence School. He also directed the Emmaus Correspondence School, one of the largest Bible correspondence ministries in the world. A prolific author, he has written over fifty books and his New Testament Commentary is his most acclaimed work. Now retired, he still spends much of the year traveling to preach and teach at churches, schools, and Bible conferences.
