Psalm 32:3-7 New International Version (NIV)

When I kept silent,(A)
    my bones wasted away(B)
through my groaning(C) all day long.
For day and night
    your hand was heavy(D) on me;
my strength was sapped(E)
as in the heat of summer.[a]

Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.(F)
I said, “I will confess(G)
    my transgressions(H) to the Lord.”
And you forgave
    the guilt of my sin.(I)

Therefore let all the faithful pray to you
    while you may be found;(J)
surely the rising(K) of the mighty waters(L)
    will not reach them.(M)
You are my hiding place;(N)
you will protect me from trouble(O)
and surround me with songs of deliverance.(P)
