Not to talk too highly of ourselves, but our audio release was pretty great. But, despite its greatness, it was only really a launching point into other new features. For example, we are working hard on making audio devotionals everything they were meant to be.

Some day in the future, we hope to make audio Bibles and devotionals work in the reading plan portion of the app. Imagine how great it would be!

However, progress is most often made in small steps. So, here’s our most recent added feature: naming tracks in select devotionals

Track Names

If you’re already an avid audio user across several platforms, you know the struggle. The table of contents is often labelled, “Track One,” “Track Two,” and so forth. That isn’t too terribly helpful.

Specifically, it is really unhelpful when you’re trying to use an audio devotional.

“So, I started this devotional on February 12th and today is April 17… that means I’m on day. number…”

In seriousness, we think this is a small but mighty feature. So, we want you to check out these audio devotionals we’ve updated. Read about them below! We’ve also included a bio of the narrator: Christopher Glyn.

Faith’s Checkbook

“Faith’s Checkbook” by Charles H. Spurgeon (1834-1892) is one of the most popular devotionals of all time and still provides daily encouragement and inspiration for many Christians around the world today. These insights into biblical truths can help the reader better understand how scripture fits into their daily lives.

British narrator Christopher Glyn’s rich voice brings Spurgeon’s insights and exposition of key Bible scriptures alive for a modern audience.

Morning and Evening

Charles Haddon Spurgeon, sometimes called the “prince of preachers” because of the richness of his utterance in interpreting the word of God, ministered to thousands in London’s Metropolitan Tabernacle for decades.

In this special audio edition, Christopher Glyn lends his elegant and faithful narration to Spurgeon’s popular daily devotional Morning and Evening, which has been a source of spiritual supply to countless believers. Spurgeon’s daily subjects come directly from the Bible and focus on Christ’s glory and preeminence, ushering listener’s directly into the Lord’s presence to enjoy the comfort and encouragement only the Lord can provide.

Pilgrim’s Progress

The Pilgrim’s Progress is an allegory originally published in 1678 and has been enjoyed by readers for over 300 years. The story follows the journey of Christian, his wife and their children as they travel to the Celestial City. The struggles and growth that Christian and his family experience will resonate with Christian believers. Anyone, at any age, can learn from this journey toward maturity in Christ.

Enjoy this audiobook version narrated by Christopher Glyn. Presented in modern English, Glyn’s clear and resonate delivery brings new life to this classic story. All the while, preserving Bunyan’s original meaning, doctrine, and “quaintness of expression”. The hours will speed by as you absorb the message of this timeless tale.

I would really love an Apple CarPlay support for the audio books. That should boost up the sales and make it even more convenient.
