We&#8217;d love to be able to support everyone&#8217;s device, giving access to God&#8217;s Word on every phone, tablet, and computer out there. But the truth is, managing that type of wide-spread usage would hinder us from bettering our app. So, in order to keep growing, we have dropped support for the following devices and platforms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Dropping Support For:<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Kindle Fire, 2011 (1st Gen)<\/li><li>Kindle Fire, 2012 (2nd Gen)<\/li><li>Kindle Fire HD, 2012 (2nd Gen)<\/li><li>Kindle Fire HD 8.9, 2012 (2.5th Gen)<\/li><li>Android devices using Ice Cream Sandwich or older (Android OS 4.0.4 or earlier)<\/li><li>PC 6.1.1 App (Bible Study 6)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Does This Mean for Me?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dropping support means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You will <strong>not<\/strong> lose any books, resources, notes, highlights, or purchases.<\/li><li>The app you are using will no longer receive bug fixes or feature improvements.<\/li><li>New titles and resources may not work in your unsupported app.<\/li><li>Our Support team may ask you to update before troubleshooting issues.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-very-light-gray-background-color\">If you are on Windows 10, you can update to the new Olive Tree Bible App for\u00a0FREE\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/store\/productId\/9NRSP6BRXBZQ\">through the Microsoft Store<\/a>. Once you have the new app, you will need\u00a0to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/help.olivetree.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360018337812-Windows-OT-7-3-Logging-into-your-Olive-Tree-Account\">login to your account<\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/help.olivetree.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360018337932-Windows-OT-7-4-Downloading-your-Purchases\">download your purchased books<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once again, we want to thank all of our users for your support and dedication to our app!
