The WJK Library series includes top-ranked commentaries such as <em>Exodus <\/em>by Brevard Childs, <em>1 &amp; 2 Chronicles<\/em> by Sara Japhet, <em>Lamentations <\/em>by Adele Berlin, <em>Mark <\/em>by M. Eugene Boring, <em>2 Corinthians<\/em> by Frank Matera, and <em>Hebrews <\/em>by Timothy Johnson. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to current editions, the WJK series includes classic editions of commentaries for nine volumes prior to the release of their contemporary updates.  Besides commentaries, the WJK Library includes works dealing with various theological topics including classic references still used today from <em>A History of Israelite Religion in the Old Testament Period<\/em> by Rainer Albertz and <em>Theology of the Old Testament<\/em> by Walther Eich. Newsom<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Newsom is the Charles Howard Candler Professor of Old Testament at Candler School of Theology, Emory University and was the 2011 President of the Society of Biblical Literature. She is the author and editor of many books, including&nbsp;<em>The Women&#8217;s Bible Commentary, Third Edition<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-william-p-brown\"><strong>William P. Brown<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Brown is William Marcellus McPheeters Professor of Old Testament at Columbia Theological Seminary. He has published numerous works, including&nbsp;<em>Seeing the Psalms: A Theology of Metaphor<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Ecclesiastes<\/em>&nbsp;in the Interpretation series. He also serves on the editorial board for the esteemed <em>Old Testament Library Series<\/em>, published by Westminster John Knox Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-brent-a-strawn\"><strong>Brent A. Strawn&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Strawn (PhD, Princeton Theological Seminary) is W. R. Cannon Distinguished Professor of Old Testament at the Candler School of Theology, Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia. He has authored or coedited numerous volumes, including&nbsp;<em>The World around the Old Testament<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>The Oxford Encyclopedia of the Bible and Law<\/em>, and&nbsp;<em>What Is Stronger than a Lion? Leonine Image and Metaphor in the Hebrew Bible and the Ancient Near East<\/em>. Strawn also serves as coeditor of the <em>Old Testament Theology Series<\/em> and is on the editorial board of Catholic Biblical Quarterly and Journal of Biblical Literature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-c-clifton-black\"><strong>C. Clifton Black<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Black is the Otto A. Piper Professor of Biblical Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary. He is the author of many books in New Testament studies, including&nbsp;<em>The Rhetoric of the Gospel: Theological Artistry in the Gospels and Acts, 2nd ed.<\/em>, published by Westminster John Knox Press (2013).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-m-eugene-boring\"><strong>M. Eugene Boring<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Boring is I. Wylie Briscoe Professor of New Testament Emeritus at Brite Divinity School, Texas Christian University. He is the author of numerous books on the New Testament, including&nbsp;<em>An Introduction to the New Testament<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Mark<\/em>&nbsp;from the <em>New Testament Library Series<\/em>, and&nbsp;<em>Revelation<\/em>&nbsp;from the best-selling <em>Interpretation<\/em> series, all published by Westminster John Knox Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-john-t-carroll\"><strong>John T. Carroll<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Carroll is the Harriet Robertson Fitts Memorial Professor of New Testament at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. He is also the coeditor of <em>Interpretation: A Journal of Bible and Theology<\/em> and the cochair of the Gospel of Luke section for the Society of Biblical Literature.
