Configure Devices

When you run Desktop Assistant for the first time, the options window will open automatically. Use this screen to configure the devices that you will use.

Palm OS Devices

1.	Check the "Palm OS Device" box on the "General" tab.

2.	Click the configure button.

3.	Add the appropriate HotSync user from the available names and click the "Add" button.

4.	Click the "OK" button to finish the configuration.

Pocket PC

If you have a Pocket PC device and are using ActiveSync, no further configuration is necessary. Simply click the "OK" button to continue. Please note that if you are using a Pocket PC, you must first close the BibleReader (Tools > Exit) before working with notes in Desktop Assistant.
