To run Desktop Assistant on your PC, perform the following steps:

 

1.Make sure that you satisfy all system requirements.

 

2.Download and run the installer on your PC.  You can download the program from http://www.olivetree.com/download/desktop/.

 

3.During the installation, the installer will check to see if you have .NET 1.1 installed.  If you do not, it will give you the option to download and install it.  If you know that you have .NET installed (version 1 or 2), then you can skip this step, otherwise, you must install .NET for Desktop Assistant to work.  Please note that the .NET Framework is a fairly large download, and may take some time if you have a dial-up internet connection.

 

4.To run the Desktop Assistant, double-click on the "Olive Tree Desktop Assistant" shortcut on your Desktop.
