Note: you will need to install PocketMac or a similar interfacing software to follow the installation instructions below.
Download
| 1. | Choose the Bible or reference database you are interested in and go to the Download page. |
| 2. | Click on the .zip link and select to Save the file; we recommend that you save it to the Desktop of the Mac. |
| 3. | Create a new folder on the Desktop, call it Olive Tree. |
| 4. | Use Stuffit to open the .zip file and extract all the files from the .zip folder to the new Olive Tree folder. |
Install BibleReader
| 5. | Open PocketMac on the desktop computer and Explore to the \My Documents\ folder. Copy the .CAB file that matches the device's processor and paste it into the \My Documents\ folder in PocketMac. The _2002.CAB file will work on older Smartphone devices, and the _2003.CAB file will work on Smartphone devices running Windows Mobile 2003 or later. |
| 6. | On the device, go to Start > File Explore > My Documents. Tap on the .CAB file to install the BibleReader application. |
Install Database Files
| 7. | To install the database files to main memory, Explore in PocketMac to the following location (will vary depending on device): \IPSM\My Documents\ -or- \Storage\My Documents\ -or- \My Window Mobile-Based Device\My Documents\. |
| 8. | To install the database files to a memory card, Explore in PocketMac to the following location: \Storage Card\My Documents\. |
| 9. | In the folder you chose above, right click, select New Folder, and name it Bible with a capital B. |
| 10. | Open the \Bible\ folder in PocketMac. From the Olive Tree folder on the Desktop, select any .pdb database files that you want to install to the device, copy the files, and paste them into the \Bible\ folder in PocketMac. |
| 11. | When the installation is complete, on the device, open the Start menu and select the BibleReader to open the application. |
