Each word in the Greek text of the LXX (Septuaginta) Parsed with LEH Dictionary Add-On Module is tagged with both a parsing code and the Greek lemma. By tapping on a Greek word, a second window displays the morphological parsing information and the LEH Greek/English dictionary meaning.

Begun in the third century BC, the LXX (Septuaginta) is the oldest Greek translation of the Hebrew Old Testament. The translation has been called the LXX or "Seventy" since it is believed to have originated with approximately seventy Jewish scholars of Alexandria, who composed the work in the Koine Greek of their day. Greatly respected in ancient times, the work was revered by Philo and Josephus, quoted much by the writers of the New Testament, and used by the Apostolic Fathers. The oldest surviving codices of this important translation are from the fourth century AD.
