Africa is suffering a severe famine – a famine for the Lord's Supper. Many Christians have forgotten or have never known the nourishment this spiritual feast brings. Others long for it but are denied the opportunity to partake. In Celebrating the Lord’s Supper: Ending the Eucharistic Famine, Dr Edison Kalengyo pleads on behalf of those who are suffering. This book identifies the ecclesiastical and economic reasons for the famine and suggests how they may be alleviated.
