This new translation, the Swedish Bibel 2000, is the third official translation used in churches throughout Sweden. The first two Bible translations in the Swedish language were printed in 1541 and 1917. Since 1973, more than 100 scholars have worked on the new Swedish 2000 translation. This translation comes with notes to the biblical text, hyperlinked for easy access while reading and a dictionary that is hyperlinked and can be easily accessed from the Bible text.
