Throughout history, Scripture has demonstrated its enduring significance by addressing humanity’s varied historical situations and social contexts. During times of struggle, Christians seek guidance and answers in God’s word. Moments of existential crisis—triggered by conflicts, shifts in cultural paradigms, or sociopolitical changes—encourage fresh interpretations of established theological concepts and biblical exegesis. In this timely and important work, Ukrainian evangelical theologians come together to explore the Beatitudes as a source of spiritual and ethical guidance for Christians facing the major upheaval of revolution, war, and natural disaster.
