F. F. Bruce Collection (23 Vols.)
The F.F. Bruce Collection brings together twenty-three classic works from the prolific author, F.F. Bruce. Born in Scotland, Bruce was a brilliant scholar with a passion for proclaiming the Bible and its authority to Christians as well as academics. Known as the dean of evangelical scholarship, Bruce taught and wrote boldly early the twentieth century when there was very little evangelical influence in the world of academia. Even still, he remained a charitable, humble man with a genuine passion for Christ and His Church.
Observations
“No Christian was ever more free of narrow bigotry, prejudice and eccentricity in the views he held and the way he held them; no man did more to demonstrate how evangelical faith and total academic integrity may walk hand in hand.”
—J.I. Packer, Evangelical Theologian, Anglican Cleric, Author of Knowing God
“He was by all accounts the most significant evangelical scholar of his age and continues to influence the church today in quiet, understated ways.”
—Dr. David Capes, Director of the Lanier Theological Library
Features:
Meticulous: Bruce contemplated well the ideas in Scripture and communicated carefully, completely, and understandably.

Encouraging: Bruce left no stone unturned and boldly proclaimed the Bible, in particular Christian worship and living as prescribed in the New Testament.

Historical: As an academic, Bruce had a firm grasp of the historical narrative and delightfully recognized Christ’s evidenced and mysterious ongoing work to redeem the nations.
